Unassembled furniture rip off

I bought a power fire press centre. It wasn't inexpensive! We settled $600 for this, and it's a looking furniture piece. The salesman informed us we'd need to deploy the firebox in to the mantel. He explained this two to three occasions, therefore we'd not anticipate a completely assembled hearth.

However, our great salesman overlooked to express the mantel wouldn't be constructed.

Therefore, after waiting 3 months (the shop bears no inventory aside from broken products within their 'pit.') for this to become delivered from their primary factory, we visited get them and far to the chagrin, the warehouse individual falls 2 containers in to the pickup. I asked where the mantel was. He started among the containers and grunted 'below.'

I went inside. I had been informed this was a 'flat-pack' purchase. I calmly explained that I likely to place a firebox into an assembled mantel. No, no, no, which was incorrect, I had been somewhat rudely advised.

After I started to clarify what I recognized the purchase to become, the woman turned somewhat indignant declaring that I'd to go because it is.

So... I got the items within the containers, since I needed this hearth.

However, the next time I'd like to buy 'level pack' furniture, I'll NOT invest $600, and that Iam confident my 'level pack' furniture purchase is likely to be created at IKEA or Christmas Tree Store.

It took me about 4 hours to put together this (with help keeping components). I don't think it had been intended for the typical customer to construct.

Bob's is just a rip off. The moment they get your cash, they handle you different.

I'd not suggest this shop to anybody.
