Ikea warrenty worthless - Ektrop sofa and lounge

I purchased this coach a year and half ago for a second home, it was assemble tight and all of a sudden the arm is very very loose, you can't see what is causing it, turned the coach over and did as the man at Ikea said, the warrenty covers the arms of the coach. The only thing holding the arm is the the slip cover. Now he is saying I didn't tighten them up tight enought and they have come loose, it can't be repaired as there is no place to tighten the loose screws on the bottom, somehow the frame part is slightly off, it was fine in the beginning. The coach has been sat on probably two months out of the year and half. What good is a warrenty if they will not honor it.

I spent several hours going to the store and calling that too is a joke unless you have the direct line.
