Every website online claims that Mike's membership / Walmart ceased promoting floor throw with red slime or provided one without it. I went within this Sunday towards the Mike's Membership in Texas, Texas and that I talked using the beef division and he explained that "We do not call it red slime but Carefully textured Trim meat and yes it is in most of our ground chuck, its healthful for you personally" I had been really annoyed and put-back all three-packs of beef that I'd prepared to buy for my loved ones. They did not provide any surface place without it. Personally I think that Walmart / Mike's Membership makes a lot of money-off of the normal national and may manage to provide ground throw without red slime. They ought to have now been the first ever to provide it being an industry leader.
