Webmasters Beware! $10.00 for a $128.00 dead cell phone. What a deal!

We have posted another consumer complaints about this company - InPhonic, Inc. But this posting is to warn all webmasters of their affiliate program and customer relations. If you want problems, then go for it, but I wouldn't want this on my site! Below is the link that you can see what is out there for their affiliate pop-ups:

Here's the deal of a life time - My girlfriend purchased a phone from one of their affiliates (Freeze Wireless). It worked for a total of 5 days. After getting over a months worth of the run around, we canceled the account and shipped the phone back with all it's original contents as instructed for credit. 4 months later we get this E-mail from InPhonic:

Dear Ms XXXXXX:

The cellular phone you are returning to InPhonic, Inc. Has been received by our Returns Department.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue a credit for this unit for the following reason (s):

The inside container is missing and the charger is missing.

Your returned cellular phone will be held for a 30-day period prior to being disposed of by our Returns Department. We will be happy to return your unit to you via UPS at your expense. You may forward a money order in the amount of $10 to the following address:

InPhonic, Inc.
9301 Peppercorn Place
Largo, MD 20774

End

Now remember, this is 4 months later. And all the content was sent back in it's original packaging. I packed it complete and sent it personally. There claim to not credit us is we didn't send the charger. That's a bunch of Bull! They sent the charger out to another customer that needed one 4 months ago, I know better. Nice try InPhonic!

Bottom line: For an additional $10.00, We can get our $128.00 dead phone back without a charger. What a deal, don't you think? Got to hold me back going for that deal! LOL

If this is the type of company you wish to deal with, I wish you the very best. Don't do it, save your self the agrivation. And please post this into all webmaster bulletin boards you know of to warn all others of this affiliate program. You'll have angry customers if you go for it!
