Sold me software, but never indicated it was a trial

Electronics and household app.
I purchased Essential Video Tools from NCH at Comp USA. Nowhere on the box does it say it was a trial version. Comp USA will not take back opened software. I paid $ 44.00 for a 14 day trial.
Who even does that. The internet is full of free trials. The outside of the box states $250 value when sold seperatly when that's exactly what they are doing. No support or phone number for them. Guess I'm stuck. Beware of this company.
