Purchased Nikon AW100 online advertises for $184.00 FALSE - MISLEADING

Electronics and household app.

Website advertises Nikon AW100 camera for $184.00 Placed order, received email confirmation and request to call for credit card confirmation. Called, was told they needed 3 digit security code on card. Provided information, then was told that the camera did not come with a battery or charger. Battery and charger would be an additional $84.00. No mention of that on website ad.in addition Nikon state that they do not sell their cameras without battery or charger. I agreed to the $84.00 charge for battery and charger. The item was shipped to person that I had purchased the camera for. Upon receipt and inspection, I was told that there was no battery or charger and that the enclosed invoice was for $289.95 not $268.00 ($184. $84.). I attempted to contact company through their website. The link goes "my domain advisor" link does not exist. From website, several email addresses provided for customer service. Emails sent bounce back. I called company to report that the recipient did not receieve a battery and charger with order and that the amount of charge was over the amount quoted. I was told that all cameras come with battery and chargers boxed by Nikon and that I was mistaken. I am attempting to contact someone else in the company, but get the run around. I am contacting my credit card company to see if they can assist. Although the Nikon AW100 was shipped promptly, it is useless without the battery. I highly advise doing business with this company as their advertising is misleading and I was a victum of switch and bait tactics.
