Ripoff They have a "bait and switch" scheme going They also advertise expensive goods but ship "cheapo" goods They said the 7 day time period to return items was over and they would not allow me to return any item

"Bait and Switch"... They advertise an expensive camera for a good price but when I called to order the salesman told me that I had to order an "American Kit" in order to be able to charge the camera. Sony, the manufacturer of the camera told me later that there was no such thing as an "American Kit" and indeed, when I got the camera and the charger... The charger would not even interface with the camera.

The "extras" I ordered were descibed as having high quality and were priced as high quality but were actually really cheap substitutes that did not even come close to the description on the web site or the salesman's description of the goods.

I tried to call the company to get a return number which is required to return goods. I only got an answering machine. I left the message that I wanted to return the stuff several times and sent several e-mails. None of these were answered.

After I filed an internet fraud report, I got a response but they said it was to late to get a return number. My credit card company Bank One told me that since I authorized the charge, I had to pay Bank One and that I could later take Best Price Cameras to small claims court.

This is like ordering a nice camera and getting a box of rocks, not being allowed to return the rocks and I have to pay for it because I authorized them to send me something.

I was ripped off. The local police took a report of Internet Fraud but told me they had no jurisdiction in New York. If I take Best Price Cameras to small claims court in California and I win, I doubt I would be able to make a company in New York pay me...
