Ripoff dishonest practices lying to customers, customer service is non existent, stealing money from bank draft customers like me

Electronics and household app.

I was a Cingular customer for 16 years (12 years in Mississippi & 4 years in California), after moving to CA., subsequent to many hours of my time and driving to a corporate store (2 hours from my home in Palm Springs).

I was forced to endure a plethora of situations including, switching of phones, avoidance, reps who intended confusion, malicious frustration, un-necessary rudeness, inconsistent, unreliable and dishonest customer service.

After being treated as though I was dispensable by customer service and management, none of my problems solved, I was told, "We have done all we can do".

At this point I called another cell phone company, which offered me a (90) "test period" of their product. Not only am I happy with them, I am overwhelmed, I have spent the last 16 years being lied to, promised services and credits that have never happened nor have they lived up to my expectations or the promises that I was given.

You may ask why I would stay so long. Well here's that answer. Upon transferring service to California in I was consistently given the excuse that the problem lied on the make and model of the phone and it's capabilities, not the network nor the lack there of.

Subsequently, I endured the expense and repeated frustration of procuring new phones, always being told that THIS WILL SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM I was also subjected to the continuing inadequacies of Cingular Customer Service.

Finally, I was told that both cell phones intermittent communication was due to faulty SIM cards. Furthermore they would need replacement at a cost of $40.00 Each (a cost of $80.00). Anyone of normal intelligence would know that communication between cell phone and cell tower has little to do with the SIM card.

I am a person of reasonable and communicable intelligence. I do not like being lied to by a company to whom I am infallible in paying my bill. The only thing I ask from them is that they deliver what I pay for. I used pay without question through bank draft (until irreconcilable problems persisted).

I have now paid all but the $150.00 disconnect fee. I have paid the $1132.69 communicative month bill for the so-called "ROLL OVER MINUETS". The $150.00 well I guess I have a real problem in getting screwed for that.
