Ordered some repair parts for an instrument, they hit my card three times, BEWARE!

I placed an order for parts on my debit card. I waited on the phone for approval-ok. Three days later 3 identical charges appear on my card. Roland says these are "approvals only" and 2 charges will go away. Roland also claims card was denied "the first time we ran it" although I waited on the phone for approval and got it. This practice is "normal" to them. I guess they don't mind screwing up my checking acct! Had I Known this, I would have sent a check or M/O.

Bank of America can't help me, or won't. Debit card laws dont protect consumers from this sort of thing. Had there been any less in my acct. Checks would have bounced. I now have to wait untill Roland submits the charge and hopefully clears out the other two. Now I transfer funds to keep my acct. Afloat. No domestic tranquility tonight.
