Gateway: Bad computer and bad repair service - desktop compute

Nothing about this computer has been easy. First it did not recognize the internet hard line. Then it will not make the recovery disks keeps showing error message. Then the sound went out. Took almost two hours with the online tech support, for her to send to a link to download a driver. Did that, still no sound. Another hour or more with online tech support. Finally they approved it to be sent to repair for no sound. I buy a box and the packing material, (3-5 inches), pay for insurance and shipping. Computer to arrive on 6/1 (3-5 days shipping). Computer shipped back to me stated the repair done was reloading the OS. Still no sound. Another hour plus with online tech. Now they want me to send it back to Texas for repair. I they are going to pay for the shipping. Now the DVD/CD doesn't write. I will be without a computer which I need for school for another two weeks. Since they don't read the repair tickets I guess I have to send it in for the sound let it come back. Then send it in for the DVD and hope items are repaired. I bought this computer in January. Best Buy doesn't accept return after 30 days and Gateway has no exchange policy
