Seniors Beware - Radioshack may not honor wrong or defective items sold to you!

All senior citizens need to be careful when you buy at Radioshack. I asked the agent for a cable splitter and he sold me the wrong item. As a result I had to call my cable company to fix the issues.
The cable company told me that the splitter was not even meant for cable use. As a result I incured an additional $50.00 expense.

Later when I found my receipt I returned it to Radioshack. The manager was not there, but Richard and Dave were. They ignored the wrong item issue and just said it was past the return date. When I said I would go to the BBB, they suggested that I should.

Altho polite, I consider them stupid. If they think that it was the correct item, then it was obviously defective. If they don't know if it was the wrong item, they invited me to complain to the BBB.
Shame on them for challenging me to complain for an item they picked out to sell me that didn't work and even cost me an additional $50.00.

Be forewarned if you are a senior and you shop at Rasdioshack. Their agents are supposed to be experts - that's why we go there. However, if you let the Radioshack agent sell you something, that you may not be able to return it and may even endure additional costs even if it is the wrong item or the Rasdioshack item doesn't work.

Shame on you - RADIOSHACK!!!
