Westinghouse short life... - 26" hd tv

I purchased a 27" Westinghouse about 2 years ago at Target thinking that although I wasn't familiar with the brand, I'd go ahead and give it a shot... Never again. The sound just died on me this evening and it's a bedroom t.V. That's rarely used. I did not purchase an extended warranty based on the usual life span of electronics in my house, which is way longer than 2 years! I'm a single mother who is now out $200 to replace this t.V.
