Bait and Switch on buy 1 get 1 free phone. The free phone is not same one as advertised. Rip-off!

Electronics and household app.

This is a classic "Bait and Switch" advertisement. We purchased a LG VX6000 and a LG VX3200 phone from the Independence, Ohio store on 6-12-04 which included a 15 day worry free guarantee. On their website, they show the same phone but in the middle of the page, shows "Buy one, Get one Free" just under the 1-year contract price. IT DOES NOT SAY that the purchaser will get a different phone. This leads the purchaser to believe that you are getting 2 LG VX6000 phones.

When arrived to the store and attempt and asked to upgrade the LG VX3200 phone to the LG VX6000 phone, the sales person told me that I had the phone that was part of the deal. I showed him the advertisement and he stated this was the plan.

I also mentioned that this was a "Bait and Switch" tactic to which he responded, "I don't know what that is."
As of 6-19-04 the advertisment is still there.
