Ripoff - $130 rebate BEWARE!

I bought a cricket phone last December for my daughter. I did exactly what the rebate offer asked me to do. It said I would get $130 back but I never did. I called the rebate center and after hanging on for an hour - literally - they said they put something into the computer and that someone would be back to me. No one ever called me or sent a response.

Cricket said that I didn't activate my service within the specified timeframe. I did do that actually. They said that I had an existing account. Well... Yes... I bought the new phone for my daughter.

The funny thing was. At the same time they had a digital camera offer. The digital camera offer had the same conditions as the $130 rebate. Funny, I got the digital camera with no problem. Strange how I was accepted for one when both had the same conditions.

Hey Cricket... Send me the $130!
