First Class Connections - Audiofile
First Class Connections, Inc. Sells Audiofile 583LR speakers out of a van. Ripoff Scam! Arlington Heights and

Electronics and household app.

All,

Approached by a couple of frat boy types in baseball caps (and a tattooed, shaved-head skin head looking type remained in the van) in a white van at the BP on the corner of Algonquin & Arlington Heights road in Arlington Heights, IL. They had a truck full of these crappy speakers to get to some customers in 45 minutes and had an extra pair not on their invoice. Wanted $650 for them but got scammed out of $400.

Sad thing is I am an audiophile who buys expensive gear and actually was in the market for some quality speakers. Too bad I let my judgement get the better of me. They gave me an invoice and everything.

Their "company" was called First Class Connections, Inc., 80 Fairbanks St. #2, Addison, IL. 60101. The address doesn't exist. Phone on the invoice: 630-543-1345, Fax: 630-543-1345. There is an 80 Fairbank in Addison but I suspect it's not these bozos.
