Hot buys electronics
Hotbuyselectronics ripoff Scam attempt, warranty scam, price manipulation Internet

Electronics and household app.

I ordered a item from this website because I found it to have the best price. After the order was place I received an email asking me to call a toll-free number (1-866-246-8289) to confirm my order.

I called the toll-free number and spoke to a person who did not give his name. That really wasn't important me. I told him that I wanted to confirm my order. I gave him my order number and he looked up the item and told me that this item comes in two different versions.

One that's imported and one from the USA. The imported one has a limited warranty and the USA one has extended warranty. He said that the USA item was $15.00 more than the imported one.

I told that I wanted the imported one for the price posted. He told me to hold. When he returned, about 2 minutes later he said all he had was the US version. Wow! Like I didn't see that coming. I said well just cancel my order. He said he would just give me the item at the orginal price and take the $15.00 loss.
Yeah right! Anyway I told him next time post it on the website and stop wasting my time.

Hope this prepares the next person that orders from www.hotbuyselectronics.com

Thanks for making this possible.
