Advertised items not available - even day BEFORE the sale! St. Louis Nationwide

Found a computer that I wanted in a "sale" ad (bought paper Saturday night, to see what was on sale for Sunday). Went to the store to purchase early (Saturday night) because I was working all day on Sunday.

The CPU was not available at that store. While the store manager offered to "get one" to their location for me, I decided to hold off because I was not happy with the lack of merchandise even before the item went on sale.

This was a package that included CPU, monitor and printer. The store had the monitor (boxed) and the printer. I left the store five minutes before it closed.

Saturday night, I checked online, and found that I could not get the monitor online, could not order for pickup the CPU and would have to have the items shipped to my house (totally unacceptable, I work.)

Sunday morning, 9 A.M. I go online to try to purchase the items because they are now officially on sale. And I find that, even though it is before local store hours, the designated monitor is not available ANYWHERE in St. Louis, online or elsewhere.

This is a clear case of deceptive advertising and should not be tolerated. I encourage everyone to avoid doing business with Circuit City for any reason.
