Ripoff. No service but money taken!

Electronics and household app.

My service was interrupted on 3/3 and I was told to take a payment to a supposed authorized AT&T payment location the next day, call in the information & get the service restored. This I did in the early morning on 3/4/04.

Service was interrupted yet again on 3/10, b/c the payment made @ their authorized center was not received. Now b/c the center was located near my job and not my home, I had to make yet ANOTHER payment, until I was able to go to the location to find out what happend to my money.

I spoke w/a Supervisor named Daniella who took my payment, gave me an authorization number & issued the restoral order. This was about 5pm EST. It is now 7:18am EST and I still have no phone service.

When I called back AT&T last nite, I was told that the order errored out and that they could not provide me with a ticket or order number regarding this situation being fixed; that this was a problem that would automatically be fixed by the system.

Being that I work for a telecommunications company myself, I realized that there should be some information that I can refer to regarding my restoral order being rejected, so I called back. This representative proceeds to tell me that my restoral order was fixed about 8:10pm EST. I advised the representative that I was then 9:50 and I still had no service.

The representative proceeds to tell me that I should power off my phone for about 20min and the service should be restored after that. NOT THE CASE!!!

I am currently on the phone with a representative name Liane who is advising me that the type of error I had on restoral order is not one that is automatically "fixed" by the system, that it in fact has to be reported to the technical department to be rectified.

So basically, for almost 12hrs, I was force fed nonsense & bullsh* by at&t wireless representatives!!! Which is absolutely ridiculous.

I have been a customer for going on 5yrs. I've recommended family and friends to this company.instead of switching or purchasing phones from other locations, I went directly through at&t wireless.

Throughout all my years of service & my faithfulness to this company, this is basically the thanks I get... Their behinds to kiss!!!
