I bought a Kenmore Refrigerator with Icemaker 5 years back and also the Snow maker quit producing snow soon after the main one year guarantee was up, so being theoretically prepared I identified the issue myself and discovered the cable likely to the cutoff guard had damaged because of the placement within the ice-maker, requested the component, a thermo cutoff guard part # 3206319, mounted it also it worked good just for about another couple of years. Requested a different one and mounted it also it lasted about six months same disappointment again. Simply chose to buypass the awful thing also it worked okay till lately, today the supply towards the snow dish wont turn off also it flooded my fridge area! Therefore today after spending money on the awful thing twice using the $150 price to get a fresh ice-maker, I'll never contemplate any Kenmore items easily need to buy or substitute a again. Same problem having a Kenmore dishwasher, failed soon after the guarantee-some wireing burned up within the doorway and needed to fumigate my home in the burnt wiring odor.
