Does not cool

Our landlord bought this fridge for the condo 14 days before. Following a small over 1 week it started to get too comfortable within the fresh-food area, and that I thought the issue was frost develop. I defrosted the system also it cooled towards the correct heat (40 degrees) but within twenty four hours it had been back-up to 50 degrees. The guide claims to regulate the call to "cooler" should this happen, but this simply causes the equipment to operate also often and therefore develop more ice and obtain even hotter. I'm unable to maintain this deviceis fresh-food area at 40 levels for almost any period of time, meaning it's NOT SECURE to shop food in.
