Sweepstakes Clearing House
Ripoff of $239.00 and trying to scam more

I was sent a letter stating that I had won a voucher of $400 towards Sweepstakes Clearinghouse items. I selected the Phillips Dual Deck Recorder and had to pay the remaining balance of $239.90 after the voucher.

Well, by the time I finally received a package at the door, the UPS guy said that I owed $69.00 dollars on a C.O.D. Fee. I told him to stop joking and to hand me my package. He then said that he was not joking. Of course, I refused the package.

Three days later, I received a letter from this crazy place stating that they will not send me the package until I send them an accurate address. They failed to mentioned that they were attempting to scam me for several more dollars! They didn't mention anything about refunding my check either!

I'm notifying the B.B.B. And If I don't hear something back soon, I'm going to call the authorities and get something done about it. I may even file a claim in the small claims court!
