You are a Sweepstakes Winner of $57,000

Miscellaneous

I recieved a letter stating I had won $57,000. The letter said I had won a sweepstakes drawing from "Readers Digest, Publidhers Clearing House, Online Sweepstakes, Internet Games etc...". The letter contained a check for $3,962.55. I was to call a phone number in the 450 area code to authorize and activate the check. The area code is a Canadian area code registered to a mobile phone.

I called Publishers Clearing House. PCH told me it was a scam.
