Panasonic Products Suck

Electronics and household app.

In January i purchased a Panasonic pv-dv702d, it cost $690.00, since this time i have had it back to Panasonic service center 2 times so far, each time i was charged $160.00, plus i had to pay shipping to get it to them, they have yet to fix this item correctly. I used to like Panasonic products, but now i will buy Sony products instead.

I first bought this camcorder to record my newborn baby, i have lost most of what was important to me, this unit eats tapes all the time, most recently it eat the tape of him standing for the first time. I just feel like smashing this thing on the ground. I am so unhappy with Panasonic's support and repair, all they want is to make more money and charge for a lemon to be repaired over and over. Today 12/7 i going shopping for a new camera, and you can bet it will not be a Panasonic.
