Tv repair - pearland scam! Avoid this repair service! They will rip you off! Scam!

Alfaro's Tv service - Pearland Texas is a SCAM!!! Do not make the mistake we did by letting them repair your TV. They placed a defective lamp (Bulb) in our DLP TV that went out less than two months after them replacing it. Charged us $269.
We called them and asked them to come and replace again as per their warranty. They do not stand behind their THREE month warranty!!! Repairman came out and tried to tell us that it was the ballast. Wanted $75 MORE for having to come out, along with $115 for a new ballast, along with $150 more for labor!!!
To make matters worse, they wanted to take our tv to their shop instead of fixing it at our home. We decided AGAINST that since they were trying to tell us it was some thing different than the defective lamp. These people do NOT even carry parts on their truck!!! The scam is to take your TV in for service so that they can tell you whatever they want as far as what is REALLY wrong!!! Scam! We decided to borrow another lamp and guess what? It was the lamp! When my husband called to tell them this, the man refused to replace the lamp and hung up on him!!!
Stay as far away from these people as you can!!! Dont make the mistake that we did!
