Does not dry!

My dad was buying me a new washer and dryer. Before he had a chance to say anything, his new girlfriend had already picked one out for me. It was LG's new compact washer and dryer all in one. I'm very skeptical about new products. She insisted this was the best cause LG made it. The unit finally arrives and I hook it up. It is a very nice machine and quiet and I was impressed.

After 5 hours the machine stopped. Here I was thinking this is so cool, put the dirty clothes in and out pops clean dry clothes. I open up the door and the clothes are still wet! I put it back in for 20 min. Clothes are still wet. I then switch to "more dry" hour and a half later clothes are now damp. I called the 1-800 number and they sent out a guy, he said thats just the way this machine runs. I'm like WTH?

I wrote LG and told them about it and they said that I'm suppose to wash full loads, then take half the clothes out and dry 1/2 loads. I said are you serious? And they responded with yes. I asked them what I'm suppose to do with half a load of wet clothes while the dryer is spending 5 hours drying the first half. They just said thats how it works. I told them I wanted to return it and get a traditional washer and dryer. They told me they couldn't do that.

So now I'm stuck with a 1500.00 washer and no dryer! LG knows about this problem and still advertises it as a washer AND dryer! It does not DRY. Do not buy anything from LG, they are decpetive and do not stand behind their products!
