Home speaker system rip off

AS I was checking out the web thinking that the deal I made today at the gas station was somewhat shady, my fears were made real and I found this website. It looks like they finally got to Los Angeles.

I am a student at CSUN cal state northridge and I was approached by two guys at the arco gas station on devonshire and balboa. They were in a grey suv a ford escape, and they had a company name on the side of the vehicle, theatre research, TR for short. The guy even had his name and a company logo tshirt, said they were from culber city.

They gave me the cock n bull story about how they had some speakers that the boss didn't know about and were giving them up for whatever they could get them for. Of course my dumb ass who likes stereo systems and what not didn't know about this good old scam, went and paid them four hundred dollars for the whole set. I am pissed but that's what I get for buying something from guys at an arco.
