Electronics and household app.
I bought my daughter two soft shell cell phone cases specifically made for the HTC Incredible. (I always hated it when people would open an item in the store and then stuff it back into the clear plastic casing when it didn't work. Well, you can bet now that I will check it out before I buy.) I bought two at $15.99 a piece.
I gave them to her and forgot about it. Three months later I find them in the bottom of a box in her room with the receipt. She says that the soft shell casing doesn't allow the phone to be turned on and off. I tried it on my Incredible and she was right. There is no cut out at the top of the case that allows you to turn it on/off—just a little indention in the soft plastic where there should be a cut out. It's past 30 days and Best Buy won't refund my money and they tell me to return it to the manufacturer.
I call the manufacturer, Rocketfish, and tell them my issue. They tell me to return it to the store. I tell them I called the store and they won't refund my money because it's been 30 days and that I should call Rocketfish. I point out to Rocketfish that there is a 1 year limited warranty stated on the back of their product and tell them the defect with their product. They still won't refund my money. Needless to say, Best Buy lost a customer.
