Ripoff cheats liars thieves con artists! Sucking blood from small business, I have found the scum of the earth and they lease credit card terminals

This company used a friendly, local third-party rep to nab a "John Hancock" on what appears to be a one page agreement (which in my case was clamped to a clipboard) to lease a Nurit 2850 credit card terminal. I reluctantly agreed to the non-cancellation clause as well as the price (53.00 mo. X 48 mos. = 2544.00). I signed the "one page" document. The sales guy "had to run" and zipped off without leaving a copy.

It turns out that a Nurit 2850 sells for about 200.00. It would appear that a number of bridges are going on the market soon. Buyer Beware!

I shut down my accounts after month 50 when they continued withdrawing "payments" from my account. I called and was told that my contract was not cancellable, that payment was owed indefinitely, that I needed to pay them a couple hundred more to buy out and I needed to notify them 60 days in advance, as per my contract.

Well folks, the Great Satan himself woulda been proud of the lawyer that made up the hidden three pages on this agreement. There are no signatures or initialing required here. Just a lot of "you can't touch us" and "you still owe us" crap. They claim I should have read the teensy weensie "page 1 of 4" located bottom left, almost off the edge of the document.

I have offered to settle by paying a small sum that would have brought my account to the total 48 month fee plus the hidden buyout fee, but I was declined. They insist that I pay the penalty for not giving them 60 days written notice.

They have harrassed me with hundreds of phone calls and make continuous threats regarding legal action and promise to damage my credit if I don't pay up in time for their imminnent deadline.

My experience with this outfit leads me to believe that I have found the scum of the earth and they lease credit card terminals.

I am in the process of securing legal aid but would appreciate help in any form. If anyone has had a similar case I'd like to hear about it.
