Home theater system ripoff speakers in the back of his trunk gray GMC plate number H80 STV

I was approached by a man at a 7-11, and he showed me his speakers in the back of his trunk. He claimed that he worked for Denver Audio, and that he had an overshipment and needed to get rid of them. The box said $2500 for the system, but I bargained him down to $250. Afterwards, I checked them out online and discovered that many other people have been scammed like this. I got the man's license plate. It was a Florida plate with the number, H80 STV. His car was a gray GMC with a 'cattle-catcher' reinforcement over his grille. He had custom fog lights as well.
