ThunderCameras is a straight-forward scam. A $500 Sigma lens retails for $1199 — and their sales-people will b*llsh*t their way through saying it's a better professional version of the same lens. Of course it isn't!
They brag about "professional" memory cards, costing $200 for 4GB (yeah, go figure!) — which of course, are cr*p no-name brand memory cards.
The first thing they'll do when you place an order is "ask you to call to verify your order". And of course, they'll use all the BS they can muster to hard-sell you something you don't want and don't need — claiming "professional", better products or cr*p like that.
ALSO, they charge RIDICULOUS rates for shipping. $70 for 7-10day ground. REALLY?! UPS charges $22 for next day.
WATCH out for their return policies. 10%-15% restocking fees, 7-14 day return periods. It's a total mess.
I'm sorry I ever ordered from these guys. They're a total scam. Absolutely NEVER EVER shop from these guys unless you want grief.
