I paid a $25 application fee to this company to rent a lap top on January 16th. I was asked to fill out and mail in an application including eployment information, monthly expenses, references from my 3 closest friends along with many other personal questions. I filled out the application and mailed back January 23rd.
I received an email Feb. 1 stating that they had received my application and were processing it. I made several attempts to contact them, but I did not hear from them again... That is until I opened a dispute with paypal (this purchase was made using my paypal debit card). I filed the dispute Feb 15.
MMO Concepts promptly responded to Paypal on March 30th stating that they had notified me that my application had been denied. I never received any response from MMO concepts personally about this. None of the personal information they asked me for was verified. After spending 4-5 hours on the phone with paypal, the $25 refund I was given was taken back and my paypal account now has an outstanding balance. They can send it to collection for all I care cause I'm not paying it.
The bottom line is, I paid the application fee and never heard anything back period. The exact same thing has happened to everybody else. If you try to do business with them you will get ripped off.
