I initially bought a Nikon D300 on eBay through Closeout Area on 3/17/10. The verification I obtained via email stated I'd to contact (not react to e-mail) in order to facilitate my purchase. I did so-and was questioned why I did not get a Nikon D5000 that was an infinitely more skilled camera. Rob Hayes subsequently went via a highspeed litany of what I'd be obtaining for this fantastic cost of $1,493. After I questioned why it had been a lot more, he explained he was "tossing in" a glass prism shake reduction contact, skilled Hi-Def firmware that didn't come standard towards the camera. He was also providing me a discount on the 5-year preservation agreement along with a 10-year guarantee contract. I expected him to get a break down of the expense and he started to state them-so quickly I really couldnot continue. Then he explained I'd ask them to sent in my experience within a few minutes. After repeated telephone calls, I never got them-and the "bundle' arrived the following day. The sum total deal value after happening point was simply over $1000 rather than the $1,493 I had been billed. Keep in mind, I'd previously requested a Nikon D300 plus they had all my charge card info. Although I love the D5000, I'd nevertheless have favored the D300. The contact I obtained was a Sigma. There site promotes that it had been a Nikkor - it's not! I obtained the info recently regarding my 5-year preservation contract but nothing about the 10-year guarantee. Subsequently to top everything down, after I listed the camera with Nikon, US, I discover that my design # continues to be remembered and today I've to deliver it to Nikon! I'm mad.
