Holding money, was cursed at

I first purchased the Canon 430ex flash and was called the next day by Elliot saying that flash was on backorder. He then up-sold me (stupid of me) and sent me a flash that I didn't want in the first place.
I returned the flash and waited over 2 weeks for a reply or a credit to my account. It took so long to get back to me that in the meantime my account had been closed for personal reasons. They said they can't refund me any other way than the way I purchased the item.
I requested a check and as of 3/15 a month LATER I still have NOT received a check. I have called mulitple times asking for Rebbeca Court who is the customer service rep I have been emailing with and when I call she is always "gone for the day".
They won't send me my check. When I call, Elliot ALWAYS answers the phone and can't seem to get the chance to talk to anyone else. Last time I called he ended up telling me "F* You". And that's where it stands.
