I have found this to be an excellent added phone line. The only times I have experienced problems is when I attempted to use it in Mexico over a wireless connection to satellite broad band, which had insufficient band width. I have used Skype, T-Mobiles At Home VOIP, and MagicJack, finding each has their advantages. As MagicJack has not yet let me port over my existing home phone number, that would be my one hesitation, however it's way ahead of spending $40 per month with Verizon.installation and initial use went as advertised, "Easy". Voice quality is excellent, and I had my choice of several phone numbers with good selection in both Los Angeles and Ft. Lauderdale. It is difficult to see where one could go wrong with their annual renewal fee of $19.95 even with the initial $39.95 cost to purchase and first years use. Now that I have T-Mobile's At Home, ($10/month), I find that I use MagicJack less frequently, however recently paid their renewal fee as it's so reasonable.
