If underneath the 1yr builder's guarantee - the builderis customer support may repair it but, after 1yr you contact AO Smith. The thermocouple and also the thermal control need to be changed. The manufaturer is prepared to deliver the parts offering you contact them-and a plumber to set up the components. Design GNR 40 serial number 0803T001366 is simply crap! It had been our encounter the component we not shipped promptly as guaranteed from the parts department.
