5.1 Ripoff and scam

As we where heading out to go to a friends to go swimming, well in my friends car a guy holler'd at us about the system we had in the car. He claimed his was louder and when we pulled into a tim hortons, they commented on it and asked if our house "bumped" as much.

He then showed us this, in box and all and opened up the "factory sealed" tape.
Everything looked legit and wrapped up and ended up purchasing for 250 (horrible i know, one of the dumbest things i've ever done) and what's worth is i didn't even do anything about till now when i was going to sell it on craigslist and someone thought i was scamming them.
