Advertising deception

I purchased a Nextar 4.3 satellite navigation system for a present. The GPS had papers in box stating I could get a rebate of $20.00. I mailed the necessary papers March 23. The rebate would take 4-6 weeks.

When I did not receive the rebate I called the 866 numbers which was on the paper I had kept. All you get when you call the number is a recording to go to their web site.

Upon checking the website it shows the check was mailed April 30. I never received it. There is no way to file a complaint with the company or talk to someone on the phone.
