51" DLP TV is a Ripoff

About 20 months ago I bought a 51" DLP television from Vivitech via NBCSHOP. This has become the biggest ripoff that I have ever experienced! In less than 14 months of time, I have had to replace the lamp twice. And they aren't cheap!!! If I had ever been informed as to the aggravation about owning this montrosity, I would have steered clear for sure. You can not get any answers from this company and the calls just go in a loop. It takes an Einstein to get through and then their person who may be lucky enough to get live is as dumb as they come in not knowing anything. Try replacing a lamp in your tv and then continuously getting a message on the screen telling you that you need to reset for a new lamp. Well... Try to find those instructions in their manual. They aren't there! And then follow up to get those instructions. Good luck... I haven't found anyone who could tell me! But with the exorbitant cost of replacing the lamps, I am going to just go buy a more reputable television from a long standing company. I hope no one ever buys a damn thing from this ripoff company again!!! Buyers beware!
