Early Termination Fee Not Waived for Antarctica Work Assignment

I called AT&T about early termination of contract fee to be waived because they do not provide service in Antarctica where I was headed to work at a government facility. They gave me a fax number and told me no problem. All they needed was proof that I was actually there with a utility bill with an address.

I am working at McMurdo station in Antarctica and we are provided room and board and the only address is the APO post office address. So I had our human resources department fax all the info explaining where and why I was here.

My credit report still indicates I owe them and I am pissed off because this was supposed to be resolved and now has been hurting my credit this whole time.
