AT&T
Mail-in rebate rip-off

Electronics and household app.

We decided to get some new phones for my family. My sister got a Palm, and bought it and was offered a $100 dollar mail-in rebate. We sent in all of the rebate information, and got back a rebate debit card.
She went shopping at Nordstrom, and decided to buy a $50 bag. She tried to pay with her rebate card, and when the person scanned it, she said that a message said the card could only be used in increments of $10, so she scanned it five times. Each time we scanned it, it charged $2 for a debit card use, so it turns out that our total rebate was actually only $80 dollars.

Don't buy anything with a rebate from AT&T!!!
