I am a customer of Aaron 's Sales and Lease and have been for the past seven years.in those seven years I have been a relatively satisfied customer and have purchased a 32" JVC television, 2 JVC Stereos, a Hotpoint washing machine, a kitchen table with four chairs, and a RCA DVD player. I leased a 42" JVC flat panel television in December for cash price of $1499.in January of this year I inquired as to my payout amount. I was not happy with it and told the local office to come pick up the television on January 15th. When they still had not arrived to pick up the television on January 26th, I phoned them to see what was going on. I inquired about the payoff amount again and again I was not happy. I was then transferred to the store manager. He then offered a payout of $650. I agreed to this deal and went into the office on January 27th and paid all together $721.69. When I returned home and was looking over my receipt, I noticed it said store credit. My boyfriend and I decided to go to the store to see what the receipt meant. We were then told that it was a done deal, he just could not close the account without the regional manager's approval. We asked if the regional manager did not approve it if we still owed the rest of the agreement. He told us the regional manager HAD already approved it, it was a done deal, they just had to wait for the regional manager to come in, which should have been later that day or the next and we should receive our paperwork by mail in a few days. On February 5th, we had still had no contact from Aaron's so we called. We were told that the regional manager had not approved the payout. So here we are, loyal customers for seven years, told that we owed more money one day when the day before we believed it to be paid off. I spoke to the regional manager on the phone and informed him of how long we had done our business with Aarons, and the things we have already purchased from there and of the things I still wanted to buy from there. He said that was fine but he could not honor the store managers offer. I informed him he would lose our business. He very rudely said that was fine. I do not appreciate being treated like I am nothing. My loyal business with them for seven years meant nothing? I do not understand how that is possible. I was treated wrongly and lied to several times. This company has done me wrong and I am very upset about it.
