A company that won't answer your mail or refund your money

I ordered a small stereo from this company after reading their info page and being impressed. I received a confirmation e-mail which included a link to follow the progress of my order. After clicking on the link I was informed that my order would ship "in 2-3 days." I waited more than a week and the confirmation still included the same information. So I wrote and asked when in fact the order would ship. No answer, but the confirmation page was changed to read "item not available." I wrote again asking if it was backordered or if I should look elsewhere. Again no answer, but the confirmation page now read "order canceled."

I then wrote asking for a refund to my credit card, which was charged on the first day I ordered. No answer. I have since written several times to urge refunding my money, with no response. Finally I contacted the credit card company, explained the situation, and they refunded my money saying they would negotiate with the company.

DO NOT order from this company unless you enjoy being frustrated. I have spent lots of time and energy getting absolutely nothing done with them, and have yet to receive a personal communication despite all the assurances on their site about customer service. I do not like companies who charge your card before they even know if they have your item in stock, and especially not when they refuse to refund your money.
