Unauthorized charges for items not ordered, no shipping info

Found this company on BizRate and thought they were reputable. On 12/12/08 I ordered a DVD player from them, paid their famous $2.99 shipping, etc. I waited a few days for them to process the order, received shipping notification and my card was charged on 12/17/08. So far, so good.

I never received any tracking information on the product. I didn't think too much about it since I asked to ship it Priority Mail and figured with USPS delivering Priority in 2-3 business days, I would be fine. However, it has now been almost a week since the item supposedly shipped and I still have not received it or any further communication from Mr. Culpepper.com.

To make things worse, on 12/22/08, my card was charged an additional $419.98 for no reason at all. This is almost double the price of the original order. I tried to contact the customer service number listed on the website to no avail. It usually gave me an automated message, told a few extensions I could dial, told me it could not reach those extensions and then cut me off. When it did sound like someone might have picked up the phone, I then heard a click as if they just hung up without saying anything.

The automated message tells you to contact customer service via e-mail 24/7/365. I have now written three messages to them in the last 24 hours and still have received no reply to any of them. I even tried calling the toll number that appeared next to the charge on my credit card statement and got the same message as the other line. If I tried to dial -0- to reach someone it took me to an entirely different business (a limo service?!?)

Here are my issues with this company:
1) No tracking information provided for original order.
2) Further, unauthorized charges to my credit card.
3) Their unauthorized charges and no notification of the charges caused my bank account to overdraft and I was charged overdraft fees.
4) The website says "At Your Service" and I have received absolutely NO service from them via telephone or e-mail.
5) They had a good rating on BizRate.com and I want to know how they achieved it.
6) I want my original product shipped to me, my money returned for the unauthorized charges, and someone to be available to provide me with some service!
