I ordered in Sept. 2008 electronic part for about 200 $. I paid with a check, but never received the goods. Several requests via email where not answered

I ordered Sept. 2008 from the E clec tech internet store goods for about 200 $. I send a check which was accepted.
I received an email with a confirmation and the promise " will be shipped in 1-2 weeks"

When nothing happened after six weeks, i send several emails (as a reply to the confirmation email AND to the email-address from the eclectech homepage). I continued to send emails every week but without result. I assume that my money is lost.
