This company has a web site Taaffephoto.com and advertised a Panasonic 37VK DVD/VHS recorder which was advertised as being new. It was confirmed by telephone that the unit was new. I purchased two of this item and received refurbished units 37V (not 37VK) which do not have the digital-TV tuner. I received no warranty cards. If something is returned, they charge a minimum 15% restocking fee plus there is a $35 shipping charge.in other words, to return these units would cost me a minimum of $95. I would advise anyone thinking of doing business with this company to keep in mind that they apparently have a policy of misrepresenting things knowing that few people would return purchases when there is such a restocking fee, etc. It might be better to deal locally even if the price is a few dollars more.
