Coastal Wireless
Dealing with Coastal will make you go Postal

Electronics and household app.

I'm going to make this short and get straight to the point:

If you find yourself being suckered in by anyone from Coastal Wireless (especially in Fiesta Mall) save yourself some time and frustration by walking straight past them and into an actual AT&T store.

I've dealt with companies who distribute phones/plans for other companies before, and I've never had a horrible experience until now.

Not only did I have to wait in the mall for 3 hours while the manager made the new guy (who honestly was being so poorly trained I felt sorry for him) process my new plan. All this while the manager was off selling phones to other people and ignoring the new guy's aparent confusion on many things.

The next day, upon realizing that my phone number actually belonged to a T-Mobile customer (who started hitting on me... But we won't get into that) I headed straight back to Coastal Wireless hoping for a quick fix.

Again the manager Mike pawned me off on the new guy (again who was extremely nice and was hardly to blame, at least in my opinon) who attemped to call AT&T to get me a new number. All this while Mike was off selling phones to a nice family who didn't know what they were getting into.

I was there for an hour... And got no where until I started to yell at Mike telling him it was rude to not help me first I'd been there for an hour and it was obvious that his trainee needed help.

Mike spend 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES!!! On the phone with them and got them to stop the port. Gave me a new SD Card and told me to call them the next day and get a new number.

Finally, I thought, this entire mess is done... Not so!

I just got off the phone with AT&T because my next bill was a supposed $214.00 dollars, when it was supposed to be around $110.

The guy on the phone said that I was being charged activation fees (which were supposedly waived upon getting them at Coastal Wireless), I was also being charged for supposedly changing my plan (on the day I had to go back to Coastal and get a new phone number), AND I was getting charged for the phone number that belonged to T-Mobile thug guy (that is probably just AT&T's fault for not completely cancelling it).

Luckily, after briefly explaining my situation to the AT&T gentleman, he was able to completely rectify my bill and save it from the incompetence of Coastal Wireless.

In summary, DO NOT deal with Coastal Wireless... Just go straight to AT&T unless being frustrated and angry is your thing.
