Rude customer service and will not fix my tv even though I bought an extended warranty Athens

I purchased a 32 inch vizio that was a repaired tv and therefore did not pay full price for it. I normally would not have done this because I am always scared things will break, but I bought a warranty with it so I figured it would be okay.

I had only had the tv for a few months before it died. My boyfriend took it back to Sam's with the warranty information and they said that the warranty does not go into effect until one year, and until then it is under a manufacturers warranty. I don't think Vizio will uphold the warranty because the reason it had to be repaired in the first place was because someone spray-painted part of it.

My boyfriend James asked to speak to the supervisor who after awhile told him that if we had paid full price he would be happy to repair it, which I thought was very rude and unprofessional. James was voicing his opinion regarding the policy, since we will probably have to wait for 9-10 months for it to be fixed, and how it doesn't seem fair and how the warranty is deceptive. The supervisor began yelling at him and telling him he didn't care to hear his opinion about the policy.

James left and called 1-800-WALMART and the customer service representative has been very nice. She actually called and spoke to the supervisor and he apparently yelled at her too. She was very apoligetic that he had to deal with this man who was clearly acting awful. She filed a complaint and we are waiting to hear what will happen with everything and then continue to take action from there.
