Ripoffs billing my credit card for three years for services I did not orde

A little over three years ago my oldest son order a recondtioned brother MFC 7000 from the Damark Company. When I saw it I told him to order me one and I gave him a credit number to pay for it. At the time I was on the road and would be for the next year and half. I got the MFC and my card was debited for it.

I didn't pay close enough attention to my monthly statements and in November I saw a debit for $149.99 and credited to the Damark Company. I called the number that was listed on the statement and in trying to find out what this debit was for the person I was talking with wanted to verify my address which was my son's. After not getting a real good response that my card would be credited back with the $149.99 I called my son and told him the story and for him to contact the Damark company and get straight.

My son talked to me a few days later and said it was straighten out and I would be credit back thye full amount to my card. He also stated that the money was for a membership club this had. He further stated he had joined three years ago, not using my card but his and after they tripled the dues he cancelled.

I thought this would be the end of the matter. I have never had any dealings with the Damark company. The next month statement showed a credit of $117.25 and when I called the Damark Company they told me the reduced amount was because of being prorated for the time the membership was in force. I tried to tell the young lady that I had never became a member and went on to explain how it came about the had gotten their hands on my credit card number. Which I don't think I got the message accross because she told me they would mail me a letter where I can explain why I think I should get a full refund.

After I talked with my son on this new developement he advise me to look a my last three years past statements. Well upon doing this I discovered the Damark Company has been fraudulently hittin my card every year to the sum of $323.97 which doesn't include the disputed $32.74 I started out at first to get credited back to my credit card. I have drafted a letter outlining all of this and I was thinking of sending copies to the Federal Trade Commission and the state attorney general office of Alabama and Kansas.
