Sold Faulty Home Theatre to public with preexisting problems!

I own a Panasonic SA-HT441 home theatre system. I have just encountered problems with this unit. It is showing a F61 error message and will not stay on. I looked in the owners manual and the error message is printed in the troubleshooting section! It says it is a problem with speakers. I called the service number and I spoke with very rude customer service people such as Mark.

I called today which is a Sunday and I have stayed on the phone with them for over two hours! One person could hardly speak english. Another person named David was blantantly unprofessional, as he talked over and down to me. I was told the Bridge Handler Bill Robinson was there but they could not let me speak with him.
Around and around it went.

I was told I was lucky it lasted this long without this error being a problem. I was told to take it 50 miles away to an electronics store because it needed repair. This is not what the owners manual says is the problem. So I tried to escalate my complaint and was left on hold, disconnected, and told several times this is not the right department.

I feel ripoffed because it is clearly evident Panasonic knew there was a problem with this machine and sold it to the public anyway.

I have tried to contact upper managemant to no avail.in light of what has happened I would never buy anything from Panasonic ever! Panasonic does not care about their customers at all. All the other items I have purchased from them are being replaced with Sony products! I have never been treated like this from Sony!!
