Rca will not refund or fix my tv Oneonta Alabama

I bought a 52 inch projection tv at wal-mart in Oneonta Al seven months ago. I paid $1100 for the tv brand new on sale still in the box. It started making a humming sound from the left back of the tv and the picture went out. The volume button works, you can mash the up down keys and you can hear it change to the stations but you can't see the picture. I didn't take out the $300 extra warranty because I didn't think my new tv would be going out in seven months.

I'm highly disappointed that rca will not stand behind their product. I would have been satisfied with them sending someone out to fix it and apologizing for their product. Now I will have to buy a brand new tv but I can promise you it won't be and rca I'll never purchase anything else from them, and I don't recommend anyone else doing it either.
